Message	I did a 120000 mile service on my 1990 NA. I also installed BDE sprockets and UR under-drive pulleys. Ran bad at startup. Power balance determined dead cyl #1. Injector test OK. Coil tested OK. Compression OK for all cylinders except #1 even after squirting oil in the cyl. I pulled the head and found no marks on the piston. I'm thinking a valve problem, or maybe a lifter. Are any of the mail-order heads trust worthy? I can't see anything wrong with the head so maybe it would be cheaper to find a machine shop to take a look. This is a great website for Z owners so I'm hoping to get some advice that will help me get back on the road soon.
